Cardio + Strength is an energizing 60 minutes of cardio conditioning and strength training. This head-to-toe workout will have you working in all planes of motion, emphasizing form and technique so you move safely and more efficiently. Expect to sweat and have a great time doing it!  Each teacher brings their own unique style and energy to their class.

DC Capital Striders Adams Morgan/Columbia Heights Run

From the Capital Striders: "Welcome to a friendly, quiet, long-standing neighborhood run. There's usually a group every M/W/F - and many regulars don't bother to RSVP, so there might be a large group even if only one person is signed up on Meetup.

Location: Rabaut Park, at intersection of 16th St. and Columbia Rd. NW. Time: meet at scheduled time - run leaves about five minutes later.

Distance and pace: flexible, typically 4 to 5 miles, from 8:30 to 10:00 min/mi. We vary distance and pace depending on who's there, so post if you have any preferences.

Proven Fit Bootcamp brings the attentive coaching that CrossFit DC is known for to a boot camp setting.  Training sessions will deliver a challenging full-body workout using bodyweight, dumbells and kettlebells, and each session will include a warmup, movement prep, and cooldown specific to the workout. This class will deliver the metabolic conditioning CrossFit is known for without the heavy weightlifting or complex technical skills.

[solidcore] is unlike any workout you’ve ever done before. It’s a high-intensity, low-impact 50-minute session that is done as slow as possible to lengthen and tone your body. Don’t let the slow fool you… it’s hard. You can expect a full–body session using controlled movements on a resistance-based machine to work your slow and fast-twitch muscles to the point of failure. The body can then work to repair the ripped muscles, which is when they become leaner, longer and stronger – creating noticeable tone and definition in the body.
