Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga Class is an awesome way to try something new, be close to nature and decompress and destress from our stressful lives!

You will learn basic SUP skills that includes: safe board and paddle control/handling, standing and balance, different SUP strokes, etc with a focus on finding your own comfort level appropriate for beginners. However the main focus of this class is Yoga on the SUP board and enjoying the yogi breath with yoga asana while being outdoors and in nature. The negative ions from the water enhance the calming effect of the yoga breath and asana. Enjoy the calm, clean water and beautiful scenery while practicing all your favorite poses on a paddleboard, especially the delicious savasana!

The 2 hour class is $65 in advance (includes the board rental fee for 2 hours and ride if you need it!). If less than 1 week before event it is $75.
Our remaining dates so far are:
8/13 5:30 -7:30 (sunset) (3:30-5:30pm will be added if 5:30 fills up)
8/27 9-11 am
8/27 5:30-7:30 (sunset)
9/3 5:30-7:30 (sunset)
9/4 9-11 am

We have secured a partnership with a great SUP rental company! Our classes are in a beautiful location 20 minutes south of Arlington right off 95. If you need a ride, we can provide it! You recieve the location of the event once you have booked.
You must RSVP and pay by emailing Amanda: amanda@mindyourbodyoasis.com to confirm your spot in these small group outings.

Reminder: ACTIVE LIFE DC IS NOT A FITNESS PROVIDER!  We do not supervise these Events and are not involved in any way with the planning or administration of these Events. Always check with the event host before attending as event information can change without our knowledge.
