DESTROY: stereotypes, antiquated ideas and playing small.
RECREATE: the most powerful you from the inside out.
NURTURE: yourself and all other women.
TRANSFORM: the world from this moment on.
Join Angela Meyer, a Fit to Fight Krav Maga instructor, and the DC Fightstrong team for a one month intensive bootcamp, guaranteeing a safer, stronger, sassier you.
Not an early morning person? Neither am I, but we are committed to rising up together in order to get this important work done.
Don’t wait for anyone else to save you. Join this revolutionary group of women and be your own hero.
We will train together for the month of June: 4 weeks.
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30am to 7:30am.
You can be prepared to sweat, while you learn how to punch, kick, knee, elbow, fall down, get back to your feet, defend yourself from all angles. You will practice defenses from chokes, headlocks, bear hugs, and multiple attacker scenarios.
The hour will be a kick ass physical workout, progressive learning, and unleash the most powerful parts of yourself. You will feel safer not just out in the world, but also in your own skin. You will access the ability to set boundaries in your work environment, in your relationships, and most importantly with yourself. You will benefit from greater self-esteem and confidence, improved self-awareness, effective boundary setting skills, and more.
You will be training in a safe, supportive, all female environment that will also challenge you to break through to your own personal greatness.
The cost for the month long program is $240
The training location is at 202Strong:
1722 I street (off of I street between 17th and 18th) The facility is metro/bus accessible and has showers with amenities if you need to rush straight to work.

My favorite Marianne Williamson quote sums it up:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.”
