On Thursday, September 24th hundreds gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the newest Pure Barre studio in Washington, DC in the Cathedral Commons plaza. With the opening of its third studio - following the success of its Dupont and Capitol Hill studios - Pure Barre becomes the largest barre franchise in the city.
“Pure Barre changed my life,” said Michelle Garcia Davidson, Pure Barre DC franchise owner. “Not only is this the most effective workout I have found, but you are surrounded by constant positivity and encouragement at our studios. Each day hundreds of Washington, DC residents enjoy the benefits of Pure Barre and I am thrilled to be a part of such a strong community.”
Pure Barre classes are 55 minutes long and provide a full-body workout focusing on a mind-body connection, building core strength and creating lean muscles. The workout is tailored to clients of all ages and levels of fitness. At the Thursday evening celebration, clients raved about the effectiveness of the Pure Barre workout and discussed the unique techniques used to build strength, while enjoying appetizers from neighboring businesses Raku, Barcelona and The Grilled Oyster Company.
Pure Barre DC is excited to plant roots in the newly built Cathedral Commons development, and neighboring businesses (Le Village Marche, Core72, Wylie Wagg, Mom’s Organic Market, Cafe Deluxe, Starbucks, and Cactus Cantina) participated in the event by providing items for exclusive giveaways.
