The Beta Academy owns the District's largest Thai Boxing program. From the Beta Academy website: "BETA Academy’s Muay Thai program is designed so that everyone can benefit, regardless of age, gender or size. In a fun and safe environment, students develop practical Thai Boxing skills and take part in rigorous exercises that challenge them mentally and physically.
Muay Thai aka Thai Kickboxing is a martial art originally from Thailand that uses stand-up striking and various clinching techniques. This combat sport is also referred to as "the art of eight limbs" because it uses fists, elbows, knees, and feet."
