From the Grapplethon Facebook page:" Join BETA Academy for a twelve hour grappling extravaganza to raise money for the Network for Victim Recovery of DC! Here's how it works: We will have at least one pair of grapplers on the mat at all times for the entire event. (Remember the dance-a-thons of yore? Well, this is like that, but with chokes and armbars.) There is no minimum requirement to roll -- you can join us for 12 minutes or 12 hours! All skill levels are welcome. Think of it as a big, friendly open mat. There will be prizes to raffle off for our fundraisers and participants!"
From the US Grappling website: "This Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission grappling tournament will have divisions for men, women, men over 30, and juveniles between ages 4 and 17.
The Good Fight will hold its New Jersey No Gi Jiu Jitsu Championship in Pitman on September 7th.
From the Good Fight website:"This competition will be one of a kind! Held on state-of-the-art artificial turf, which means NO dirt, NO grass and NO mud to worry about. This is totally clean and safe! It is a beautiful outdoor arena and sure to be a GREAT experience!"
