If you're looking to switch up your fitness routine and try a new workout as you set your new year's resolutions, then look no further! Club Pilates, the nation’s largest Reformer-based premium Pilates franchise, has arrived in the Washington, D.C. area for the first time with its inaugural studio opening in the Pentagon City neighborhood of Arlington, VA.
Located at 1101 S. Joyce St., Ste. B14, Arlington, VA 22202, Club Pilates Pentagon City has opened their doors offering a select schedule with the grand opening on Saturday, January 6th, 2018.
With nearly 270 studios open across the U.S., more than 650 scheduled to open, Club Pilates Pentagon City is the first in the area to bring a contemporary-Pilates workout format to locals.
True to Joseph Pilates’ original Reformer-based Contrology Method, Club Pilates enhances the 50-minute group practice by incorporating 11 different pieces of equipment in addition to the traditional Reformer, including the EXO Chair, Bosu Ball, Triggerpoint, TRX, Barre and more. With 8 different signature class formats to choose from and 4 levels of practice, programs are catered to exercisers’ fitness levels and focus areas (i.e.: cardio vs. restorative vs. balance, etc.)
The Arlington location is owned by D.C.-native and entrepreneur Michael Grams, who plans to open two additional Club Pilates locations in the area in 2018.
“Club Pilates is like nothing the DC area has ever seen -- merging a variety of exercises that complement the core traditional Pilates practice,” says Grams, “and in our efforts to modernize the workout even further, we’re bringing a group class feel with slightly larger classes (12 reformers vs. the traditional 2 to 8) so students will feel the motivation of community while providing personalized attention in this all-in-one workout,” adding, “For anyone looking to kickstart 2018 with New Year’s fitness goals, Club Pilates Pentagon City is your path to a healthier you!”
Leading up to the grand opening -- now through January 5th -- Club Pilates Pentagon City will offer 20% off the first 3 months; 5% off an annual membership; and waiving of the enrollment fee.
