Running the Marine Corps Marathon or the MCM 10K on October 28th? You've put in the hard work leading up to the race, but how you recover from running a race is just as important as how you prepare. Join TW Training and Wellness, Pacers Running, and MedStar for a workshop that will discuss recovery techniques and tips for the days leading up to the race, the day of the race, and the day after the race to ensure your body and mind are recovered and ready for your next running adventure.
The workshop will last for 30-40 minutes and will be followed by an optional 3-4 mile run (suitable for all paces and levels). While MCM is the focus race for this workshop because it's local, anyone running a fall race and interested in this topic is welcome to attend!
Katie Rogowski, a PT with MedStar, will be leading the workshop and Coach Tammy of TW Training and Wellness will be leading the run.
