Blue Crab 5K/10K
The first of three Blue Crab 5K/10K summer races from EX2 Adventures is scheduled for June 24th in Seneca Creek State Park (Gaithersburg, MD). From the EX2 Adventures website: 'Similar to our Backyard Burn races, these 5K and 10K courses are fun and challenging and include a mixture of winding single-track hiking trails, stream crossings, grassy fields, and minimal pavement.' The following two races in this series will be held on 7-29 in Schaeffer Farms (Germantown, MD) and on 8-26 in Little Bennett (Clarksburg, MD), respectively. Washington DC Reebok Spartan Sprint Race
July 22nd is the Reebok Spartan Sprint Race in Nationals Stadium. As this is a "sprint" race, the course is 3-5 miles with about 20 obstacles. Make the commitment ASAP and save 50% via Groupon!
The 2017 Warrior Dash Maryland will be held on August 5th in Mechanicsville, Maryland. The course contains 12 obstacles and is 3.2 miles long. Registration currently costs $75 but goes up by $10 in late July. Read more on the Warrior Dash website.
Join EX2 Adventures for the Fountainhead Trail Tri on August 19th where "solo racers and relay teams of two or three will kayak the beautiful Occoquan Reservoir, ride the world class terrain of the Fountainhead Mountain Bike Trail System, and run rugged and challenging hiking trails.
