The DC Bike Ride, presented by CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and EventsDC, is returning to DC for its 5th year! For one morning only, more than 8,000 people of all ages and skill-sets will have the opportunity to enjoy 20 miles of car-free roads, monumental views, great music, and delicious cuisine, ending with the celebratory Sibley Memorial Hospital Finish Festival in front of the U.S. Capitol. Riders can bring their own bikes, or have Cannondale bike and helmet rentals conveniently ready for pick-up on ride-day for just $13.
The DC Bike Ride has launched a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. From Nov. 1-21, DC Bike Ride will host the DC Virtual Ride (DCVR) presented by CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and Events DC. Participants from all over the country will be able to join the DCVR, and then ride on their own schedule to earn a variety of prizes. Registration for the DCVR is open until Oct.
