From a press release: "WASHINGTON, DC, September 25, 2014 — Yoga classes will be available in NoMa next week, with great teachers, inexpensive prices, and curated classes! The neighborhood’s first yoga studio, Yoga NoMa, will open in an unused retail space on First Street, NE. Free outdoor promotional classes will take place throughout the neighborhood October 1-10, and the studio will open on October 15. Learn more about the studio and reserve your classes at www.YogaNoMa.com.

Yoga NoMa is a full-service yoga and mat pilates studio that will operate in 1200 First Street, NE, thanks to an investment by the NoMa Business Improvement District in partnership with Principal Real Estate Investment and Polinger Shannon and Luchs. The design of the space was graciously provided by local NoMa architecture firm Ayers Saint Gross.

“We’re thrilled to be able to provide this much-needed amenity for NoMa residents and office workers, activate a small retail space, and bring high-quality teachers to the neighborhood,” said Robin-Eve Jasper, President of the NoMa Business Improvement District. “As a yogi myself, I think yoga provides amazing benefits, which we’ll be able to pass along to community members, making the entire neighborhood a healthier and more enjoyable place to be!”

Free outdoor promotional classes will start at locations throughout the neighborhood October 1, and the Yoga NoMa studio will officially open October 15. Sign up for classes now, and get your first 30 days of unlimited classes for $30!
